Fatal Shooting In Newark Claims Life Of Irvington Man
Police are investigating a fatal shooting that took place in Newark last weekend.
NEWARK, NJ — Police are investigating a fatal shooting that took place in Newark last weekend.
According to the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, Newark police responded to the 300-block of Grove Street at 4:25 a.m. on Sunday after getting a report about a shooting.
Officers found Ty’Shad Campbell, 27, of Irvington, outside suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to University Hospital and pronounced dead at 4:42 a.m., authorities said.

No arrests have been made, prosecutors said.
