Film Production Will Cause Street Closures In Newark: Traffic Update
Several streets in Newark will be temporarily closed on Saturday. Here's the list.
NEWARK, NJ — Several streets will be temporarily closed in Newark on Saturday because of a film production, authorities said.
The Newark Department of Public Safety didn’t identify the name of the production in a news release about the closures. Drivers are being urged to anticipate delays in these areas and to plan alternate routes.
The closures will take place at the following times and places:

- Washington Street between Raymond Blvd. and Broad Street
- Washington Street between Raymond Blvd. and Central Avenue
- Central Avenue between University Avenue and Broad Street
- Warren Street between University Avenue and Halsey Street
- Bleeker Street between University Avenue and Halsey Street
- New Street between Washington Street and Halsey Street
- Linden Street between Washington Street and Halsey Street
- James Street between Washington Street and University Avenue
- Washington Place between Washington Street and Broad Street
