Fire Crews At Newark Airport Sunday; Plane Engine 'Sparking'
The plane was towed back to the terminal, and buses came and picked up the 41 passengers.
The Port Authority said a plane engine at Newark Liberty International Airport was sparking late Sunday night and early Monday, prompting fire crews to respond and giving some passengers anxiety.
The Port Authority said the incident was first reported at 10:50 p.m., when a United Airlines plane was waiting to depart and had visible sparks coming from the #1 engine.
The plane was towed back to the terminal, and buses came and picked up the 51 passengers, according to the Port Authority.

No one was injured, but the incident sparked some passengers to express concern on Twitter.
