Free Classes At Newark Library Will Help People Take Citizenship Test

A 10-week workshop being held at the Newark Public Library will help people to prepare for the United States citizenship exam.

NEWARK, NJ — A free, 10-week workshop being held at the Newark Public Library will help people to prepare for the United States citizenship exam.

According to a social media post from the library:

“Are you interested in taking the United States Citizenship Exam? This 10-week preparation course put on by Jewish Vocational Service will get you ready. All people who want to enroll in the class are required to bring a Green Card to the first class. If you have questions, call 862-704-2291 or email adultschool@jvsnj.org. You can register in advance, but it is not necessary.”

Classes begin March 4 at 9:30 a.m. and will be held in the classroom on the third floor of the Newark Main Library, 5 Washington Street.
