“Everyone here at NESF is extremely excited about our new partnership with Forward Ever and Lotus Laundry,” said Amina Bey, executive director of Newark Emergency Services for Families. “Our family that is receiving this very generous gift has been receiving support and services at our South Ward location at the Weequahic Family Success Center. The information and resources we provide, serves to improve the quality of life for our families, thus strengthening our communities. We are grateful that Forward Ever and Lotus Laundry are assisting us in this effort.”

“As a business in the community, we must pour back into the community,” said Nakeicha Adams-Wilson owner of Lotus Laundry. “We have working families in this community that lack basic necessities such as clean clothes. At Lotus Laundry we are dedicated to working with organizations like Forward Ever and NESF to help families have access to clean clothes, so that the children can go to school and adults can show up to utilize city and county resources without concern of dirty clothes.”
