High school graduates revisit their roots, celebrating a unique clap-out at their pre-K alma mater, Lightbridge Academy
Lightbridge Academy of Rutherford, NJ, recently hosted a heartwarming pre-K clap-out that doubled as a reunion for alumni. High school seniors, all alumni of Lightbridge Academy, returned with their friends for the event to celebrate teacher Diane Monaco’s Pre-K class, where all of them began their educational journey.
Diane Monaco, recognized as Teacher of the Year at Lightbridge Academy’s 2022 Annual Conference, was deeply moved to see her former students return. This event not only celebrated their early years at Lightbridge Academy but also underscored the enduring impact of Diane’s dedication and mentorship.
Dressed in their cap and gown, the alumni were able to reconnect and reminisce where their educational journey and friendships began, adding a full circle moment to the occasion.
