Here’s What’s Happening For ‘Newark Restaurant Week’
Invest Newark has partnered with more than 60 local restaurants to offer discounts and prix fixe meals to guests.

Invest Newark - Newark’s economic development organization - will be hosting their first Newark Restaurant Week with eateries and restaurants offering prix fixe lunch and dinner menus from August 15 – August 22, 2021. With a wide variety of participating restaurants ranging from casual to fine dining and more to come, Newark Restaurant Week is an opportunity for local businesses to showcase their menus and dining experiences to new customers. It’s also a great opportunity for residents of Newark and surrounding areas to see and experience how many amazing restaurants are locally owned and operated in Newark.
“Newark is home to incredibly innovative and delicious restaurants, and we’re thrilled to partner with so many for Invest Newark’s first Restaurant Week,” said Invest Newark President and CEO Bernel Hall. “As part of our commitment to supporting local businesses and building a thriving Newark economy, Restaurant Week is one of many new and exciting initiatives underway. We hope to welcome our neighbors back to our restaurants after the pandemic and introduce more people to the wonderful offerings of Newark.”

With over 60 Newark restaurants currently registered to participate, Newark Restaurant Week will provide something for everyone from trying new exotic cuisines to savoring old favorites. Highlights include: Sigri Indian BBQ, Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea, Jollof & Grill, The Green Chicpea, Blimpie, Queen Pizza, Teriyaki Madness, Ark Deli, Burger Bound, Blue Print Cafe, The Weekend Spot and more.
New restaurants are being added daily to the website so interested parties should continue to check back for more opportunities. Local restaurants can also visit the website and register to participate in Newark Restaurant Week by filling out a form.
