Here's Who Is Running For Irvington Mayor, Council: Election 2026

Mayor Tony Vauss is facing a challenge from Paul Inman. Three at-large seats on the town council are also up for election.

IRVINGTON, NJ — Irvington voters will head to the polls in May to cast ballots for mayor and three town council members.

Irvington’s 2026 municipal nonpartisan election will take place on Tuesday, May 12. Candidates do not name political parties in nonpartisan elections.

  • Town council candidates with Vauss’ “Team Irvington Strong” slate are: Darlene Brown, Anthony Vauss Jr., and Charnette Frederic
  • Town council candidates with Inman’s “It’s Time For A Change” slate are: Ruth Baptiste, Durrell Watford, and Jude Ogu
