My Trip to Kemet (Egypt), Africana Studies, and Black Liberation. Yes, family I am in Afrika doing field and educational research about Kemet, (Egypt)-the world’s oldest and greatest documented civilization. I am studying Kemetic history, culture, and spirituality with the Kemet Nu educational tour.

The 2021 Kemet Nu Educational Tour is sponsored by Professors Ashra and Merira Kwesi. They are the legendary teachers of Egyptology (the scientific study on Egyptian history, culture, and spirituality) and history.

Professors Ashra and MeriRa Kwesi direct the Kemet Nu knowledge of Self Educational tours every summer in Kemet. The word Kemet is the original Afrikan name for Egypt. Unfortunately, the European invaders (i.e., the Greeks and Romans) changed the name of the northeastern part of Afrika to Egypt. Kemet means the land of the Blacks.

The Kemet Nu Knowledge of Self Educational Tours hosts two sessions per summer. This session’s tour is taking place from 7/11/21 to 7/25/21.

Journal Entry 6: Today our field studies and lectures concluded with a visit to Ipet Isut (the European and Arab invaders call it Karnak). Ipet Isut is also the site of the holiest temple of ancient Kemet.

Ancient Afrikan Kemetic people (ancient Egyptians) spirituality taught that AmenRa descended to earth in the ark of the covenant. AmenRa is Medu Neter for the oldest name for the one God of the universe. AmenRa means spiritually the hidden one. But ancient Afrikan Kemetic people taught that Amen can be seen physically everyday as the sun. They call the Neter(a representation principle of Amen)- Ra. Our ancestors in Kemet taught that the creator is AmenRa.

In the Medu Neter, AmenRa’s color is Black. In fact, all kemetic people, and our ancestral Neteru deities, are portrayed as Black in color. Afrikan Kemetic people’s theology based their belief system upon AmenRa manifesting the spirit in 19 Neteru. The world’s major religions (i.e Judaism, Christianity, and Al-Islam) pays homage to AmenRa by saying Amen at the end of their prayers.

Visiting Ipet Isut is a great privilege to study the wisdom of our Afrikan ancestors. The world has copied the culture and spirituality of Kemet to place their civilizations on the roadmap for human progress.

Unfortunately, over the centuries, invaders have come to Kemet raping the treasures and resources of Afrika.

For Afrikan centered educators like the Kwesis, they teach all people the importance of showing respect to our great ancestors of Kemet. They educate on the the precautions about entering Ipet Isut. Out of respect for our Afrikan ancestor’s spiritual tradition, Professors Ashra Kweisi, and his wife MeriRa, instructed us to wear all white like the Medu Neter instructed our ancient Afrikan Kemetic ancestors thousand years ago. And we did.

However, they also directed us to respect the Ankh Manu by not entering its chamber. The Ankh Manu is a special room located inside Ipet Isut. It represents AmenRa coming out of the heavens down to earth. It is symbolized as a huge concrete ark in a room. This room is called the holiest of holies-Ankh Manu. In ancient Afrikan Kemetic times, only the high priests (the Khairy Heb) were allowed to enter the Ankh Manu.

The way you physically and symbolically glorify AmenRa is by raising your hands and arms. Medu Neter calls this duwa. This was taught by our ancient Afrikan Kemetic ancestors in the Medu Neter for thousands of years. Many of the world’s religions have incorporated the raising the hands to honor AmenRa into their rituals. The Christians raised hands their hands in the Amen-Ra position to honor God during church service and in prayers. Muslims raise their hands in the AmenRa position during times of prayer (In Arabic it is called salaat) and during the Adhan (Arabic for the calling of the Muslims to prayer).

At Ipet Isut, the reverence for God and spirituality is prevalent and written everywhere. The Medu Neter shows the world that ancient Afrikan Kemetic people pioneered the belief in monotheism, pioneered the belief in the existence of God, pioneered fasting, pioneered baptism, and pioneered ablution. This Afrikan Kemetic faith tradition existed thousands of years before Judaism, Christianity, Al-Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism. However, Afrikan Kemetic faith tradition is the root origin for all of the world’s major religions.

But they also pioneered the belief in salvation and resurrection.

At Ipet Isut, Afrikan Kemetic people consistently reminds the world that the souls of humanity can be saved and resurrected. In the temple, huge tekenu created by Black people, called by Europeans and Arabs, obelisks fill the site. Unfortunately, when Europeans invaded Kemet, they stole many tekenu. The European invaders took tekenu as souvenirs to claim them as their property. But more importantly, they took it because the Tekenu’s symbolism for salvation and resurrection in that Afrikan monument. Some of the most famous Afrikan tekenu are located in the western world., such as the Vatican’s St. Petersburg square and Washington D.C’s Washington memorial.

Church steeples and Islamic minarets are replicas of Tekenus.

White Masons duplicated the Afrikan Kemetic faith tradition. They copied our ancestor’s rituals in temples of Ipet Resyt (Waset) and Ipet Isut (Karnak). White masons imitated the Afrikan Kemetic tradition that one has to study the arts and sciences for years to achieve the highest degrees of nehast (Afrikan Kemetic Medu Neter for resurrection and spiritual enlightenment).

This is why when you view Masonic symbols and rituals in the western world, your will see the nesi amsu (Afrikan Kemetic Medu Neter for the walking with the left leg forward, to trample down evil). The eye of Asar on the back of a dollar bill. The Washington Monument as a Tekenu in Washington, DC. All of this is our Afrikan history and culture!

Unfortunately, because many Black people have become disconnected to our Afrikan history and culture through white supremacy, we can not see our legacy’s impact on the world. More importantly, because we fail to connect to our Afrikan cultural traditions, particularly Afrikan Kemetic cultural traditions, we remain mentally oppressed in America and in the world. Without Afrikan history and culture as a foundation for Black liberation, we scatter on the planet blindly following every word of our former slave masters and colonizers. As a consequence, we continue to build a world for our oppressors. But we build nothing ourselves!!!

Every Easter, when the Pope of the Catholic Church greets the people in Rome in St. Petersburg square, his first ritual is to honor AmenRa through the tekenu by raising his hands to honor this Afrikan monument and Afrika Kemetic people’s faith tradition.

Upon the ceilings and walls of Ipet Isut, Afrikan Kemetic people believe that if you lived a life based upon the love for AmenRa, and the 42 ethical Laws of Ma’at (Medu Neter for truth, justice, righteousness, balance, order, and propriety), the after life will be your spiritual reward for your soul for eternity. They symbolized heaven as stars. Afrikan Kemetic people called the spiritual soul by the Medu Neter name Ba. But they also taught that Ba manifests its visual spiritual form as the Ka. The Medu Neter says that the Ka is the spiritual double of the deceased. There is no coincidence that Black Rock in Mekkah in Saudi Arabia is called the KaBa. It’s origins go back to Afrikan Kemetic faith tradition.

And the idea of heaven originates from Afrikan Kemtic origins that the world’s religions have copied.

Afrikan Kemetic culture and spirituality astonished Europeans and Arabs, but on another level, intimated our oppressors.

For example, European leaders, such as Justinian and Theodosius, ordered the closing of all Afrikan Kemetic temples during 4th and 6th centuries A.D. under the Roman Christian Empire, so that no one will discover the Afrikan Kemetic origins of Christianity. They even order the murdering of all Afrikan Kemetic high priests that taught the faith tradition of AmenRa.

Even during Europe’s Middle Ages, Christians monks plastered theirs faces over the Medu Neter to promote a fictitious myth that Christianity came from some place in the western world.

The Arabs burned many temples. And the temples they did not burn, they used the blocks to construct cities under their domination such as Cairo.

However, the Medu Neter, the oldest recorded written language in the world, has documented the story of Kemet’s role in the origins of the world’s civilizations and religions. It is all written in stone!!!!!!

But I am moving forward. Although I have left Cairo and Giza days ago, I am now in Upper Kemet to study Kemet’s contributions to non-religious world.

I did not come to Kemet to just study her spiritual foundation for the world’s faith traditions. I came to Kemet to study her contributions to architecture, mathematics, the sciences, and the arts.

It is in Kemet’s spiritual centers that the world’s architecture, math, sciences, and the liberal arts were created. Kemetic schools and spirituality developed simultaneously. Afrikan Kemetic people created the world’s first calendar that we used today. Kemetic people developed astronomy, papyrus (paper), written language, trigonometry, Algebra, agriculture, medicine, theology, architectural engineering, astrology, philosophy, embalming, art, geometry, physics, biology, literature, geography, anatomy, archaeology.

Afrikan Kemetic people called this section of the temple-The Mystery Schools.

Again, on the walls of Ipet Isut, the Medu Neter shows the world Black people pioneering the science of math with mathematical calculations written in stone.

I am finish with my studies on Lower Kemet. I have moved into Upper Kemet. This is where Nubia and Abu Simbel are located in Afrika. The city of Abu Simbel is right across from the Sudan.

BY THE WAY, THESE PICTURES ARE NOT PHOTO SHOPPED. THEY ARE FROM MY IPHONE CAMERA!!!!!!!!!!

All of Kweisi’s Arab Professors/guides bore witness on day one that Kemet is the root of the world’s civilizations and religions (Judaism, Christianity, and Al-Islam).

Shem Hotep (Medu Neter for I go in peace)!

Note: Medu Neter is the original Afrikan written language for Kemetic people (Egyptian people). After Europeans and Arabs invaded Kemet (Egypt), they began to change the name of the Medu Neter to Hieroglyphics.
