Latino Youth Leadership Conference Unites Students In Newark

The Boys to Leaders Foundation recently hosted their 9th annual Latino Youth Leadership Conference. The conference's theme was “Success Does Not Walk Alone,” and the organization proudly welcomed approximately two hundred students at Rutgers University-Newark.

The annual youth conference is specifically designed for male students ranging from ages fourteen to twenty, and is geared towards promoting a culture of leadership and communication skills which are fundamental to achieving personal development and professional success. The conference consisted of several workshops on topics such as “College 101 for Parents; Scoring and Keeping the Job”; “How Your Mental Health is Your Superpower; Financial Literacy”; and “I'm in High School, Now What?”

The conference's keynote speaker was Ben Nazario, Chief Growth Officer of MC². As the Chief Growth Officer, Mr. Nazario's primary focus resides in overseeing the company's domestic and international growth through multiple facets of the business including Sales, Business Development, Marketing Strategy and Creative.

"Our organization is focused on being the leadership pipeline for the next generation of male leaders," said Sara Peña, founder and president of the Boys to Leaders Foundation.
