Linden Resident Fatally Stabbed In Newark: Authorities
A 35-year-old Linden resident was stabbed in Newark. He was pronounced dead at East Orange General Hospital, authorities said.
NEWARK, NJ — A 35-year-old Linden resident was fatally stabbed in Newark on Friday, authorities said.
Quan Williams, 35, of Linden was stabbed near South Orange and South Munn avenues, according to a joint statement from the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office and the Newark Department of Public Safety.
Emergency responders transported Williams to East Orange General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 2:17 a.m., authorities said.

The Essex County Prosecutor's Office Homicide/Major Crimes Task Force, which includes detectives from the Newark Police Department, is investigating the stabbing and is seeking assistance from the public.
