Man, 28, Dies In Newark Shooting; Investigation Continues
A 28-year-old man died in a shooting in Newark, authorities said. No arrests have been made as of Wednesday.
NEWARK, NJ — A 28-year-old man died in a shooting in Newark on Tuesday, authorities said.
Sharique J. Ray, 28, of Newark, was shot on Huntington Terrace in Newark. He was pronounced dead at 8:52 p.m., according to the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office.
No arrests have been made as of Wednesday, authorities said.

The Essex County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide/Major Crimes Task Force, which includes detectives from the Newark Police Department, is investigating the fatal shooting.
