Man, 32, Dies After Shooting On Clinton Avenue In Newark
A fatal shooting in Newark claimed the life of a 32-year-old man, authorities said.
NEWARK, NJ — A fatal shooting in Newark claimed the life of a 32-year-old man on Friday, authorities said.
Joshua L. Ward, 32, of Newark, was shot on the 700-block of Clinton Avenue at 3:12 p.m., according to the Newark Department of Public Safety.
Ward was transported to University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 3:28 p.m.

The Essex County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide/Major Crimes Task Force, which includes detectives from the Newark Police Department, is investigating the shooting.
