Man Dies After Being Shot In Newark

The shooting took place in the area of Aldine Street and Forrest Street, police say.

Authorities are investigating a shooting that took place on Tuesday night in Newark that left a 37-year-old man dead.

According to the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, the shooting took place shortly after 11 p.m. in the area of Aldine Street and Forrest Street.

Authorities have identified the victim as Abdul M. Riley of Newark.
