Max Weinberg Of Newark Inducted Into NJ Hall Of Fame: Video

NEWARK, NJ — Chalk up another win for the Brick City’s vaunted music scene.
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band drummer Max Weinberg – a Newark native – was among this year’s inductees to the New Jersey Hall of Fame, joining a 2022 class that also included comedian/author Chelsea Handler, former New Jersey Governor Richard J. Hughes, U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team star and three-time Olympian Heather O’Reilly, and former Eagles quarterback Ron Jaworski.

Weinberg and the other Garden State luminaries were honored at the New Jersey Hall of Fame’s annual induction ceremony last weekend (watch the video below). The star-studded virtual event was hosted by another New Jersey native, Danny DeVito, and also featured appearances by Gov. Phil Murphy and First Lady Tammy Snyder-Murphy, Jon Bon Jovi and Melba Moore.
