NEWARK, NJ — Newark police are asking for the public’s help finding a missing 13-year-old girl, authorities announced Thursday.

According to the Newark Department of Public Safety, Khalani Madison Gray, 13, of Newark, was reported missing on Wednesday.

Gray was last seen at 8:15 a.m. in the area of Custer Avenue and Peshine Avenue in Newark. She is 5 feet 4 inches and 160 pounds. She was wearing a gray North Face jacket, black shirt, and khaki pants.

Authorities said anyone with information can call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). Anonymous tips may also be made using the Police Division’s website.
