Missing Newark Girl, 14, Has Been Found Unharmed (UPDATED)

A missing teenage girl was last seen in Newark and may have been traveling to Brooklyn. She has since been found, authorities said.

NEWARK, NJ — UPDATE: Newark police said that Skyler Cuautle has been found and is unharmed. Our original article follows below.

Newark police are asking for the public’s help finding a missing teenage girl, authorities announced Tuesday.

Skyler Cuautle, 14, of Newark, was reported missing on Monday, according to the Newark Department of Public Safety.

Cuautle was last seen on the 200-block of Parker Street in Newark. She could possibly be traveling to Brooklyn, NY, authorities said.

Police said Cuautle is Hispanic, 5 feet 5 inches and 100 pounds. She has brown eyes, black hair, and a fair skin complexion (see photo above). She was wearing a black North Face coat, a burgundy-colored uniform shirt and white sneakers.

Authorities said anyone with information can contact the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). Anonymous tips can also be made using the Police Division’s website.
