Missing Newark Man, 81, Last Seen Driving Cadillac: Police

NEWARK, NJ — Authorities are asking for the public’s help finding an 81-year-old Newark man who was reported missing on Monday. He was last seen driving a 2003 Cadillac Deville, Newark police said.

According to the Newark Department of Public Safety, William Stinson, 81, of Newark, was last seen Sunday around 5 p.m. driving a 2003 red Cadillac Deville in the area of Grumman and Elizabeth avenues.

He is described as 6 feet 1 inch and 175 to 185 pounds with gray hair, and was last seen wearing a black shirt with silver pinstripes, black dress pants and white sneakers with no shoestrings (see below photo).

“While police are actively searching for Mr. Stinson, we seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating and returning him to his family,” the NDPS stated.
