Missing Newark Man Last Seen Several Months Ago, Police Say
Police are searching for a missing man in Essex County, authorities announced Thursday.

NEWARK, NJ — Police are searching for a missing man in Essex County, authorities announced Thursday.
According to the Newark Department of Public Safety, Derek Keels, 58, of Newark, was reported missing on Tuesday.
A relative of the victim reported that Keels was last seen on the 100-block of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in May, police said.

Keels – who has been diagnosed with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder – is 6 feet and 175 pounds. He is bald and has brown eyes, polices said.
