Missing Newark Man Was Last Seen On FaceTime Weeks Ago: Police
Newark police are asking for the public's help finding a missing man. The last time his family saw him was via FaceTime, authorities said.

NEWARK, NJ — Newark police are asking for the public’s help finding a missing man who was last seen via FaceTime several weeks ago, authorities said Tuesday evening.
Prebisterio Pelaez, 65, of Newark, was reported missing on Tuesday. He was last seen by his family on July 25 via FaceTime while on the 800-block of Franklin Avenue, according to the Newark Police Department.
Pelaez, who has been diagnosed with diabetes, is 5 feet 7 inches and 150 pounds, police said (see above photo).

Authorities said that anyone with information can contact the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). Anonymous tips can also be made using the Police Division’s website at https://npd.newarkpublicsafety... or through its smartphone app.
