Missing Newark Teen Last Seen Nearly 2 Weeks Ago, Police Say
Newark police are asking for the public's help finding a missing teen. Here's where she was last seen, authorities say.
NEWARK, NJ — Newark police are asking for the public’s help finding a missing teen who was last seen nearly two weeks ago, authorities announced Friday.
Kayla Jagoo, 17, was reported missing on Oct. 14. She has previously run away from home, and is reportedly in good mental and physical condition, according to the Newark Department of Public Safety.
Jagoo was last seen on Oct. 9 on the 100-block of Fabyan Place. She is known to frequent the area of Osborne Terrance, authorities said.

According to police:
“Detectives investigating this incident seek the public’s help in quickly locating Kayla Jagoo. She is described as 5 feet 9 inches and 160 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black jacket, white t-shirt, beige pants and black sneakers.”
Authorities said anyone with information about the whereabouts of Kayla Jagoo can call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). Anonymous tips can also be made using the Police Division’s website or through its smartphone app.
