Missing Newark Teen May Be With Other Missing NJ Youth: Police
A Newark teen was reported missing nearly two weeks ago. He may be with a teen reported missing out of Elizabeth, police said.
NEWARK, NJ — Police are seeking the public’s help finding a Newark teen reported missing nearly two weeks ago, authorities announced Tuesday.
According to the Newark Department of Public Safety, Jaheim Logan, 15, was reported missing on April 26. He may be with missing juvenile Samiyah Hawthorne of Elizabeth, police said.
Logan, who has run away before, was last seen on the 100-block of South 10th Street. He is known to frequent George King Village apartments and the 200-block of Springfield Avenue.

Logan is 6 feet 1 inch and 180 pounds, and has brown eyes, black hair and a dark skin complexion. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, blue jeans and gray Jordan sneakers (see photo in above gallery).
Authorities said anyone with information can contact the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). Anonymous tips can also be made using the Police Division’s website or its smartphone app.
