Newark police are asking for the public’s help finding a missing, 81-year-old woman who has been diagnosed with dementia, authorities said.

Jonnie Couler, 81, was reported missing Monday, according to the Newark Department of Public Safety.

According to police, Couler is 5 feet 2 inches and weighs 95 pounds. She has gray hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a white turban, a tan jacket and tan pants.

Couler is known to frequent the ShopRite supermarket on Springfield Avenue, and was last seen at 8 a.m. on Monday on the 400-block of University Avenue, authorities said.
