Missing NJ Woman Last Seen With Scooter Nearly 7 Weeks Ago: Police

Police said the missing woman was in possession of an electric scooter and a mini-speaker when she was last seen.

NEWARK, NJ — Newark police are asking for the public’s help finding a missing woman who was last seen nearly seven weeks ago.

Robin J. Bacote, 53, of Newark, was reported missing on April 4, according to the Newark Department of Public Safety.

Bacote was last seen at noon on March 28 at Baldwin Avenue near Clinton Avenue. She was in possession of an electric scooter and a mini-speaker.

According to police, Bacote is 5 feet 9 inches and about 140 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a multi-colored scarf, a green vest, gray pants and sneakers.

Authorities said anyone with information can contact the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). Anonymous tips can also be submitted at the Police Division’s website.
