Missing Newark Woman May Be At A Shelter, Police Seek Public's Help
Police said the woman was last seen earlier this week, and may not be taking her medication. Here's what they know.

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — Police are asking for the public’s help finding a missing Essex County woman who was last seen several days ago, authorities announced Friday.
Ebony N. Gay, 35, of Newark, was reported missing on Monday, according to the Newark Department of Public Safety.

“Gay, diagnosed with schizophrenia, may not be taking her medication and was last seen on the 50-block of Clifton Avenue. Gay, described as Black, weighs 260 pounds and has brown eyes and black hair. She may be in a Newark shelter, but the clothing she was wearing is not known.”
Authorities said anyone with information can contact the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). Anonymous tips can also be made using the Police Division’s website.
