Missing Newark Youth, 13, Has Run Away Before: Police
Newark police are asking for the public's help finding a 13-year-old who was last seen nearly a week ago.
NEWARK, NJ — Newark police are asking for the public’s help finding a 13-year-old youth who was last seen nearly a week ago.
Zjamaal Boyd, 13, was reported missing on Jan. 26, according to the Newark Department of Public Safety.
Boyd, who has run away before, was last seen on 200-block of South 10th Street, and is known to frequent the area of 14th Avenue and 14th Street. He is described as 5 feet 3 inches and 130 pounds, with brown eyes, black hair and a dark skin complexion. He was wearing a gray and black hoodie, blue jeans and black sneakers, authorities said.

Anyone with information can contact the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). Anonymous tips can also be made using the Police Division’s website or through its smartphone app.
