Missing ‘At-Risk’ Woman Found Safe: NJ Transit Police Update
NJ Transit police asked for the public's help finding a missing woman. She's been found safe, authorities said.

NJ Transit police are asking for the public’s help finding a missing woman, authorities announced Thursday.
Magdalena Diaz, 43, was reported missing by her mother, Rosa Vasquez, who last saw her at Newark Penn Station on March 21. She was later spotted on video around 7 a.m. on March 23 at New York Penn Station, police said.

NJ Transit police released the following message on Thursday afternoon:
“The New Jersey Transit Police Department seeks your assistance in locating a missing, at-risk person: Magdalena Diaz, 43, female, medium complexion, 5’01”, 140 pounds, black hair, hazel eyes. Diaz was last reportedly seen at New York Penn Station on March 23, 2022. At the time of her disappearance, Magdalena was wearing a burgundy blouse with a black jacket, white pants with burgundy stripes and white shoes. She was also reportedly carrying a green suitcase with her. If you have any information that can assist in helping to safely locate Magdalena Diaz, please call NJTPD Central Communications at (800) 242-0236 and reference case #2203L5902.”
