Missing Teen Fled To NJ Train Station, Hasn’t Been Seen Since: Police
Police are asking for the public's help finding a missing teen in North Jersey.

NEWARK, NJ — Police are asking for the public’s help finding a missing teen who fled to Newark Penn Station and hasn’t been seen since, authorities announced Thursday.
Andrea Orellana, 15, of Newark, was reported missing on Monday. She has run away from home in the past, according to the Newark Department of Public Safety.

“Andrea was last seen at 8 a.m. when she was dropped off at her high school. The principal reported that Andrea left school along with friends, but returned at the end of the day. Upon becoming aware of her friends’ family members near the school, Andrea and her friends fled to Newark Penn Station. When her friends’ family members later arrived to pick them up, Andrea refused to go with them. Andrea’s family has not been able to reach her, nor have they heard from her.”
Police said Orellana is 5 feet and 125 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt over a blue school shirt, black sweatpants and white sneakers.
Authorities said anyone with information can call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). Anonymous tips can also be made using the Police Division’s website.
