Missing Mom, Young Daughter In Newark Found Unharmed (UPDATED)
A mother and daughter went missing in Newark. Police tried to "quickly locate" them – and now they've been found, authorities said.

Newark police are asking for the public’s help finding a missing mother and her young daughter, authorities announced Thursday afternoon.
According to the Newark Department of Public Safety, Kimora Hopkins, 25, of Newark, and her 2-year-old daughter, Nova Quinones, were reported missing on Thursday.

Authorities released the following statement about the missing persons case:
“At approximately 1:11 p.m., police responded to Hopkins’ residence on a call that she had threatened to harm herself. Responding officers did not locate Hopkins nor her daughter, Nova, at the location. However, she was seen walking eastbound on Muhammad Ali Avenue towards Irvine Turner Boulevard with her child at 1:38 p.m.”
Detectives investigating the case said they’re asking for the public’s help in quickly locating the pair.

Hopkins is 5 feet 7 inches and 185 pounds. She has a medium-brown skin complexion and was wearing a blue or purple shirt, black sweatpants, tan Uggs boots and a black bonnet. Her daughter has a light skin complexion, authorities said.
