MSU: Lecturer Who Allegedly Made ‘Shoot Trump’ Tweet Never Worked Here

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Kevin Allred never worked at Montclair State University. Not even one day, MSU administrators say.

That’s what MSU administrators told Patch about the former Rutgers lecturer, a Caucasian male who was once ordered to undergo psychiatric treatment for allegedly posting an inflammatory comment about guns and “shooting at random white people.”

Allred, a former adjunct in the Rutgers Women's And Gender Studies Department, was known for teaching a popular class on the intersection of politics and Beyonce at the school.

The Washington Times recently reported that Allred posted a Tweet which read: “Trump is a f—ing joke. This is all a sham. I wish someone would just shoot him outright.”

Allred apparently deleted the Tweet, the Times stated. As of Tuesday, Allred’s Twitter profile was “protected” and not publicly visible.

The Times cited a report on TheCollegeFix.com, which stated that Allred was listed as an adjunct instructor in the Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies program at Montclair State University as recently as July 29, but that his bio disappeared from the school’s website following his recent Trump-related Tweet.

Here’s what a Montclair State University spokesperson told Patch:

“Kevin Allred has never been an employee of Montclair State University, is not one at this time, and the university has not made any formal offer of employment to him.”
