National Night Out Will Return In Newark: Food, Music, Entertainment
The free celebration is open to the public. The event helps to foster connections between police and the community they serve.
NEWARK, NJ — A “National Night Out” celebration will return in Newark for 2026.
The Newark Police Department will host this year’s event from 2 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 4 at West Side Park (South 17th Street entrance).
The free celebration is open to the public. It will include food, music, children’s activities and law enforcement demonstrations, in addition to safety information from local emergency responders.
