Newark Arts Festival Nominated For ‘People’s Choice’ Award
The annual awards program by Discover Jersey Arts pays tribute to the work of New Jersey's vital, vibrant and diverse arts organizations.
NEWARK, NJ — The Newark Arts Festival has been nominated for "Favorite Visual Arts Festival" in the 2019 JerseyArts.com People’s Choice Awards.
According to a news release from Newark Arts, the annual awards program run by Discover Jersey Arts pays tribute to the work of New Jersey’s vital, vibrant and diverse arts organizations. Public voting began January 9 and runs through February 20, 2019 at www.JerseyArts.com/Vote.
“We are incredibly grateful that Newark Arts Festival is being recognized as a premier arts festival in our state,” said Jeremy Johnson, executive director at Newark Arts. “We’re honored to be recognized by our peers, and to be a part of such a vibrant arts community that drives one another to thrive.”
