“Although we are slowly emerging from the effects of the pandemic, the arts sector was the first to shut down and among the last disciplines to recover. Individual artists do so much to enhance the communities and spaces we inhabit. This funding provided to Newark Arts to support artists from the New Jersey Arts and Culture Renewal Fund is designed to help artists in their creative practices,” said Felicia A. Swoope, Executive Director, Newark Arts.
The application can be accessed at newarkarts.org/renewal-grant from November 7, 2022 through November 17, 2022 at 11:59 p.m.
