Newark police are asking for the public’s help finding a missing 10-year-old boy, authorities announced Thursday.
According to the Newark Department of Public Safety, Ayaan Khan, 10, was reported missing on Wednesday.

Khan – who has run away in the past – left his home on North 13th Street between 7:15 and 7:30 p.m. He is 4 feet 6 inches and 70 pounds.

Authorities said anyone with information can call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). Anonymous tips can also be made using the Police Division’s website.
