Newark Youth, 14, Reported Missing More Than A Week Ago
The missing 14-year-old has run away before. She is known to frequent a local park, police said.

Newark police are asking for the public’s help finding a missing, 14-year-old girl, authorities announced Monday.
Meleah Williams, 14, of Newark, was reported missing on June 24. Williams – who has run away before – is known to frequent Saint Peters Park on Lyons Avenue, according to the Newark Department of Public Safety.

Williams is 5 feet 3 inches and 110 pounds. She has brown eyes, black hair and a medium skin complexion (see below photo).
Anyone with information can call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). Anonymous tips can also be made using the Police Division’s website.
