Newark Boy, 6, Goes Missing During Blizzard, Soon Found: Police
Amari Ramson, 6, went missing just before a blizzard hit New Jersey, police say.

NEWARK, NJ — UPDATE: Shortly after announcing that Amari Ramson was missing, Newark police provided an update that he was located and is uninjured. Our original article follows below.
Newark authorities are asking for the public’s help locating a six-year-old boy who went missing during a blizzard on Thursday. Amari Ramson was last seen around 12:30 p.m. near the intersection of Bloomfield Avenue and 1st Avenue, according to the Newark Department of Public Safety.
Police said Ramson is about 4 feet tall and 50 pounds. He was wearing an olive-green jacket and black snow boots at the time of his disappearance. (See below photo)

“While police are actively searching for [Ramson], we seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating him and ensuring his safety,” Newark authorities stated Thursday afternoon.
