Missing Newark Boy Found Unharmed, Sleeping In Car (UPDATE)
The missing child was wearing a blue t-shirt and a white diaper at the time, Newark police said.
NEWARK, NJ — Authorities said that Alimou Diallo was found sleeping inside a parked vehicle in the area of Hansbury Avenue and Elizabeth Avenue. He is unharmed, police said. Our original article follows below.
Newark police are asking for the public’s help finding a missing 6-year-old boy, authorities said.
Alimou Diallo, 6, of Newark, was reported missing on Monday, according to the Newark Department of Public Safety.

Diallo was last seen at 2 a.m. inside his residence on the 600-block of Elizabeth Avenue. His mother realized he was missing from the home at 5 a.m., police said.
Alimou, who is diagnosed with autism, was wearing a black t-shirt (Love logo in red and white letters), blue Crocs, off-white shorts and a diaper, authorities said.
