Newark Bringing Back Summer Jobs For Youth Program: How To Apply
Newark residents aged 14 to 24 can apply to work up to 16 hours per week through the city's popular job program.
NEWARK, NJ — Newark’s popular summer job program for local youth has begun taking applications for the 2024 season.
The Newark Summer Youth Employment Program is now accepting applications, city officials recently noted. The program is open to Newark residents between the ages of 14 to 24 only. The deadline is April 26.
Through the program, local youth work up to 16 hours per week, earning up to $15.13 per hour. Employment runs from July 8 to Aug. 16.
