NEWARK, NJ - A collapsed sewer grate and emergency construction in Newark has prompted commuting delays in the area Wednesday morning, authorities said.

As of 7:48 a.m., there's a collapsed sewer grate and emergency construction on US 1&9 northbound ramp to Haynes Avenue in Newark, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

All lanes are currently closed, the agency said.
