Cops Ask For Help Finding Missing Essex County Man, 72
A missing person was last seen at the Marian House on Ballantine Parkway, police said.

NEWARK, NJ — Newark police are asking for the public’s help finding a missing person, authorities said Thursday.
According to the Newark Department of Public Safety, Richard Naporano, 72, of Newark, was reported missing on Wednesday.
Police said Naporano was last seen at the Marian House, located on the 100-block of Ballantine Parkway. Naporano was described as a white male who is 6 feet 2 inches and 200 pounds, with blue eyes, and grey and white hair. He was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and black sneakers.

Authorities said anyone with information can contact the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695- 8477). Anonymous tips can also be made at the Police Division’s website or through its smartphone app.
