Newark ‘EdCamp’ Set For Science Park High School

The Newark teacher/administrator event promises to be "an education conference like no other," organizers say.

NEWARK, NJ — It promises to be “an education conference like no other.” That’s how organizers are describing the edcamp that will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Science Park High School in Newark on Saturday, Sept. 23.

During the free conference, which is open to local teachers and administrators in the Newark school system, participants will be able to partake in a variety of conversations about educational leadership. Attendees are expected to come from all over the East Coast for the opportunity to network with their peers, event organizers stated.
