Newark Families Can Get Free Food Boxes At Giveaway Event: See Details
Organizers said that 1,000 free boxes of fruits, vegetables and chicken will be available on a first come, first serve basis in Newark.
NEWARK, NJ — A free food giveaway will take place for Newark residents on Wednesday, April 1.
According to a municipal advisory, the food distribution event is scheduled for 10 a.m. at Keer Avenue and Clinton Place. Organizers said that 1,000 free boxes of fruits, vegetables and chicken will be available on a first come, first serve basis.
Visitors should arrive early, organizers suggested.
