Newark Farmers Market Opens for the 2015 Season
SNAP, WIC and other vouchers are now accepted.
The Newark Farmers Market at PSE&G Plaza opened for the 2015 season on June 4.
The farmers market will run every Thursday until Nov. 19, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and will feature live music.
Shoppers can find fresh produce, kettle corn, natural skin care products, handcrafted jewelry, spices, Italian specialties, gourmet nuts and fruits, soups, pickles, baked goods and fresh pizza.

Transportation is available by taking the Newark Light Rail to the Military Park Station.
