Newark Girl, 15, Missing For 3 Days; Police Seek Public’s Help
Newark police are asking for the public's help finding a missing 15-year-old girl, authorities said.

NEWARK, NJ — Newark police are asking for the public’s help finding a missing 15-year-old girl, authorities announced Tuesday evening.
According to the Newark Department of Public Safety, Iazaliya Johnson, 15, of Newark, was reported missing on Sunday, Jan. 21.

“Iazaliya, who is a habitual runaway, was last seen in the area of Chadwick Avenue near Avon Avenue and is described as 5 feet 1 inch and 140 pounds, with a hairstyle of black and pink braids. Iazaliya was wearing a black varsity jacket, gray sweatpants, and blue Jordan's sneakers. She frequents the 200-block of West End Avenue, the 100-block of Seymour Avenue and Smith Street in Newark.”
Authorities said anyone with information can call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). Anonymous tips can also be made using the Police Division’s website.
