Missing Newark Girl, 15, Found Unharmed: Police Update
Police asked for the public's help finding a missing 15-year-old youth in Essex County. She has since been found unharmed, authorities said.

Newark police are asking for the public’s help finding a missing 15-year-old youth, authorities announced Tuesday.
According to the Newark Department of Public Safety, Jariah Martin, 15, of Newark, was reported missing on Sunday.

Martin attends Weequahic High School and may be on the 900-block of South 19th Street in Newark, police said. She is 4 feet 11 inches and 100 pounds, and has a dark-brown skin complexion, black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a hooded sweatshirt, brown sweatpants and gray Uggs.
Authorities said anyone with information can contact the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). Anonymous tips can also be made using the Police Division’s website or via its smartphone app.
