Newark Teen Reported Missing, Police Seek Public's Help (PHOTO)
Police say 17-year old Giovanna Castro of Newark was last seen on Christmas Eve.
NEWARK, NJ -- Newark police are seeking the public’s assistance locating 17-year old Giovanna Castro of Newark. According to a police alert sent on Wednesday evening, Castro was last seen on Dec. 24, 2016.
Police said that Castro is 5 foot 2 inches and 120 pounds, and had her hair dyed red from its original color (black) at the time she was last seen. She also has a tattoo on her right-front shoulder. [See below photos]
"While police are actively searching for Giovanna Castro, we seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating and returning her to her family," authorities stated on April 26.
