Newark Group Builds Community With Public Safety 'Roundtables'

Newark Community Street Team: The roundtable series is a community forum created to engage residents in the public safety process.

NEWARK, NJ — The Newark Community Street Team (NCST) continued its series of South Ward Public Safety roundtable discussions with a virtual meeting on Wednesday.

According to the NCST website, the community forum was created to engage residents in the public safety process. Organizers hope to facilitate a community dialogue and hold elected officials, service providers and faith-based organizations accountable for public services.
