Newark House Fire Injures 4; Arson Unit Investigating: Officials
A fire at a home on Sunset Avenue in Newark injured two residents and two firefighters, authorities said.

NEWARK, NJ — A fire at a home on Sunset Avenue in Newark caused four injuries on Sunday, authorities said.
According to the Newark Department of Public Safety, the blaze took place around 12:35 p.m. at a two-story home at 39 Sunset Avenue.
Authorities said two women were injured. Emergency responders transported both to nearby hospitals for treatment.

In addition, two firefighters sustained shoulder injuries. One was treated at the scene and the other was treated at University Hospital, authorities said.
A total of six people – five adults and a child – were relocated after the fire. Members of the arson unit are investigating the incident, authorities said.
