Newark Job Fair: Whole Foods, UPS, FedEx Looking To Fill Positions
Companies including Whole Foods, UPS and FedEx will be present and looking to hire at a job fair in Newark on July 25.
NEWARK, NJ — Essex County College, in partnership with six area companies searching for candidates to fill both full and part-time positions, will host a job fair on Tuesday, July 25. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the college’s 4th floor multipurpose room at 303 University Avenue in Newark.
According to a news release from the college, companies “looking to fill a variety of positions” will include:
- Choice Home Warranty
- FedEx Ground
- Forem Facility Management, LLC
- UPS
- Volt Workforce Solutions
- Whole Foods Market
According to Essex County College administrators, this is the second job fair this year in which the college’s Training, Inc. partnered with an area employer. A Job Fair, in partnership with the New Jersey Department of Labor, was held in March with St. Michael’s Medical Center.

“This job fair is part of our ongoing outreach to area employers, as we work to provide employment opportunities for our students and the community at large,” said Sanghamitra Choudhury, director of the college’s Training, Inc. program.
