Newark Man, 81, Reported Missing; Hasn't Been Seen For Weeks: PD
Newark police are asking for the public's help finding an 81-year-old man. He was last seen on Nov. 26, authorities said.

NEWARK, NJ — Newark police are asking for the public’s help finding a missing, 81-year-old man.
Segundo “Cuba” Aponte, 81, of Newark, was reported missing on Monday, according to the Newark Department of Public Safety.
Aponte was last seen on Nov. 26. He lives on South 18th Street and frequents the 100-block of Roseville Avenue, police said.

Aponte is 5 feet 8 inches and 175 pounds, with a dark-brown skin complexion, gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing an army jacket, gray dress pants and a brown scarf, police said. (See photo below)
“Detectives investigating this incident seek the public’s help in quickly locating Mr. Aponte and returning him to his family,” the Newark Department of Public Safety said Friday.
